We had the most fantastic trip – Peru is such a rich country in terms of natural beauty and diversity, ancient archaeological and anthropological history and culture. We were busy the whole time in order to cover what we did and there was still so much we missed – we would have loved to see some of the sites further north and up the coast from Lima (Chan-Chan etc.) The organisation and advice we received was brilliant. We had done a lots of pre-reading and were very interested in the history which helped us to appreciate it more. To everyone involved – a very big THANK-YOU for making it such a special trip.

Highlights were completing the Inca Trail and walking in the jungle at the Tambopata Research Centre.

Overall organisation was excellent - we were very impressed that there were no hiccups at all with accommodation, flights, transfers, etc. Accommodation overall was very good.

Food was excellent - on the Inca Trail and in the Amazon. We also found great places for food in Lima from the upmarket Astrid y Gaston restaurant to the stalls in the San Pedro market.

The guides were very good on the Inca Trail and in the Amazon. Diego on the Inca Trail was very knowledgeable and Fernando was very laid back and good fun in the Amazon.

Thank you very much for all your help and I would have no hesitation in recommending Andean Trails and you in particular to my friends.
