One of El Calafates best restaurants, typical Argentine Cuisine, a bit more ” gourmet” and as such a little pricier. Great atmosphere. Isabel Gobernador Moyano 1020 esq. Cte. Espora This is a typical restaurant where all the food is cooked on a “ploughman’s disc”. Very typical rural tradition, big portions. Viva la Pepa, Amado 833 Great place for crepes, salads and pies. Great place for something lighter and less formal. Cosy atmosphere with no more than 10 tables. On nice days there is the option to sit outdoors. Don Pichón, Puerto Deseado 242 Speciality lamb restaurant, popular with visitors. Gets busy so advisable to book. Casimiro Biguá, Av. del Libertador Gral. San Martín 963 Downtown fine dining restaurant at the pricier end of the spectrum. Great food and service. Kau Kaleshen – Gobernador Gregores 1256 For those with a sweet tooth! Great tea and cakes.
