Our Peru climbing and mountaineering courses and guided mountain climbing tours bring you the best of the Peruvian mountains.

The Andes that form these giant, ice-clad Peruvian peaks are a climber’s adventure playground.

Climbing in Peru is open to all – learn the basics on our courses, or experienced technical mountaineers can climb some of the most beautiful snow-capped peaks in the world.

Mountaineering courses are from 3 to 6 days, private or small group. Courses are held in the Cordillera Blanca in Ancash, a short flight from Lima. We provide English-speaking, UIAGM / IFMGA qualified local mountain guides who will instruct our courses and then help you climb to the summit.

We organise guided ascents of the easier trekking peaks such as Huapi, Maparaju, Pisco, Ishinca and Vallunaraju, to more technical ascents such as Chopicalqui, Tocllaraju, Huascaran.

You climb and we organise the logistics. Our mountaineering trips are fully supported with qualified guides, assistants, porters, cooks, donkeys and back up teams. All communal kit is provided for you, tents, mats and so on. We have top quality boots, crampons, harnesses, ice-axes and other mountaineering equipment to rent too if you don’t want to bring your own or don’t have it.

Peru’s mighty array of glaciated mountain ranges await the adventure traveller looking for a unique and challenging climbing or mountaineering holiday.

It was a really wonderful trip, we both enjoyed it tremendously, the highlights were getting to the top of 2 mountains.

I found both ascents quite demanding, but it was exhilarating to reach the top and be rewarded with tremendous views.

The holiday was a complete success. The porters and guides on the Inca trial were excellent. Our main guide, Henry, was knowledgable about the trek and always in good spirits. We has a really good time with everyone else in the group. The food was excellent and the accommodation was always set-up and waiting for us when we arrived.

The flight of the condor was also excellent. Chris is a really nice guy and it was great to have a native english speaking guide to keep us informed and entertained throughout or 5 day trek in the Santa cruise valley.
