Make your Galapagos islands trip an adventure holiday to remember with a multi-activity tour of the islands’ highlights.
The Galapagos are perfect for travellers who want to relax but also offer numerous excellent activities for the more energetic traveller. There are options to hike, mountain bike, swim, snorkel, dive and kayak in this remote, wildlife-rich archipelago.
As you tour around the islands on your Galapagos trip, you will have guided daily excursions to the top sites and you will come up close to masses of amazing wildlife. In the warm Galapagos waters, you can dive, snorkel and swim with sea lions, sea horses, rays, myriad tropical fish and even sharks. On land, on short hiking trips, you have to tread carefully to avoid walking on the weird and wonderful marine and land iguanas, giant tortoises, red and blue-footed boobies, the Galapagos finch, the waved albatross and numerous other creatures.
As well as gently wandering along Galapagos coastal paths, you can enjoy more demanding hiking. The volcanoes of Isabela offer a full day out and dramatic views over the steaming crater. Another active adventure is to mountain bike down the lush hillsides of Santa Cruz, enjoying changes of vegetation and eco-zones. Kayaking will allow you to explore remote beaches and many secluded bays and give a great view of the wildlife swimming in crystal clear waters below.
A multi-activity Galapagos Islands trip caters for all interests. Activities such as hiking, diving, snorkelling, kayaking and biking can be organised to suit the level you like. The trip was brilliantly well organised by yourselves. Everything worked as it should in that all transport arrangements were great and people appeared where they should and delivered more than we could have ever expected.

It was a fantastic holiday in great company with a lot of varying, fun and interesting activities, in a fascinating, unique ecosystem, leaving me with many amazing and unforgettable impressions but also greater awareness and knowledge about the evolution of our planet. Everything was extremely well organized and smooth. It is really difficult to pinpoint one particular highlight or activity. For me, every day was a "highlight", not only because of daily changing activities and scenery, but also because of our daily discoveries of new endemic species (in both flora and fauna). The marine life however is definitely one of its kind! Special was also getting to know the life story and legacy of the Wittmer family - a German family migrating to the "wild" Some wonderful memories, I would not hesitate to recommend it to a friend

Extremely good - Andean Trails were very helpful in getting us properly advised about the trip in advance and their local partners in Quito and the Galapagos were superb. Nick, Tim and Crystal did everything they could to ensure people had a good time and took great trouble over many minor details that contribute significantly to overall satisfaction. The guide they assigned to our group, Zambo, was also excellent- knowledgable and caring. Some wonderful memories, I would not hesitate to recommend it to a friend!
