The highlight was the boat (Flamingo) – it was very comfy, the crew and guides were excellent, as was the itinerary. Great food, service, comfort – loved it. There wasn’t really a low point, although at times it was chilly which we weren’t expecting.We had a really memorable holiday …

Our trip went well and we had a very good time on Letty. I believe we probably had the 2 best naturalists in the Galapagos – their names Cesi and Maria. They were very fun loving and entertaining.  The boat was comfortable and we had little in the way of seasickness. The hotel you booked for us in Quito was excellent. Thanks.

Our holiday was FANTASTIC  definitely lived up to all my expectations and spending my birthday on the Galapagos was very special. The Galapagos made a great contrast to our land based Peru trip.  The Beluga, her crew and the other passengers were all brilliant.  I think we were very lucky to have an all English speaking group and all (bar one older couple) very active and energetic!  There were two boys one 10 and one 13 year old who got on really well with our girls. Our guide Darwin was outstanding… the kids all adored him and were like bees round a honey pot whether snorkelling or hiking up the volcanoes.  His knowledge of the islands, geology, plants, animals, marine life and culture was endless and he was great fun. Chloe has corresponded with him by email since we have been home.  We saw so much of the remarkable wildlife of the Galapagos and were  also very lucky to see a pod of pilot whales while we were navigating just after crossing the equator which was so exciting and also some bottle nose dolphins. The highlight was probably snorkelling with the sea turtles.

The tour was exceptionally well organized, everything seemed to go smoothly and the hotels were excellent. Comfortable, clean, good location and standard was fine. The local agents were great and incredibly helpful and efficient. ..you really are a rare travel agency…there are not many around that can speak with authority on the places to see, who has actually been there, and who responds so promptly (and not just with one-line answers either). Tom was an absolute pleasure to deal with and I look forward to meeting both of you one day. We have traveled enormously and usually each time we return from a trip we cross the Agent’s name off our list and start again. You guys are really the first good company  that I can say with absolute conviction are true professionals and give great value-added service. Hence my recommendation to all my friends.

The group was really well organized and the activities were well thought out. Equipment was is good condition and the accommodation was super, clean and welcoming. The guides were very knowledgeable and passionate about the Galapagos. Good mix of activities. My holiday with Andean Trails was without a doubt the best trip I’ve been on. The wildlife was amazing.

Incredible location, food and sunsets. Very much away from it all, the staff are incredibly attentive and kind. If you want to see stunning Galapagos in superb style, then there’s nowhere better than the Safari Camp. I loved swimming in the pool with swooping birds flying down to keep me company.
