We had an absolutely wonderful, amazing trip of a lifetime to Peru. The guides were excellent, very good level of english great enthusiasm and depth of knowledge 10/10. The organisation was perfect all pickups were on time, we needed to visit a pharmacy before we left Puno and we were taken and looked after very well by Willie . I must also mention Johnny our guide on Uros, Amantani, Taquile visit he was fab! Odilio our guide on the trek was great. He was very calm and relaxed very easy company. The bus tour guides were fantastic in particular Marita ( Puno to Cusco) she was hilarious!
It really was an unforgettable experience!

I´ve got to say the highlight of my time climbing in the avenue of volcanoes was reaching the summit of Cayambe. I don’t think I really had a low point to be honest. The food was very good, our guide Ramiro was excellent–light hearted, funny, personable–and the overall experience of the trip was great.

Our guide Andrés in mainalnd Ecuador was great. He picked us up/dropped us off from the airport and was our guide for the Quito city tour and Cotopaxi volcano tour. He was on time in fact early for pick ups. He was very knowledgeable and informative as well as coming across in a very relaxed and friendly manner.
Once on Galapagos, Pablo Vallanderes , was our guide. He enhanced our experience on the Galapagos with his passion and enthusiasm.
Our visit to the Cloud Forest continued our adventures! Again, our guide Nelson Apolo was brilliant. So knowledgeable, friendly and enthusiastic.

Everything worked out really well. We were met at the airport and each day our drivers picked us up as expected. The organisation was brilliant.
All the activities were fantastic. We loved the white water rafting , El Monde Lodge (wonderful location) and the zip wires in particular. The hike to quilatoa crater was good, though I’m glad we got horses to bring us back up!
I’d like to explore more of South America in future so may be in touch next year!

The highlight was definitely just how amazing that part of the world is – Patagonia is stunning, I loved it. In particular, I loved the Argentinian side of Patagonia around El Chalten and the hikes we did in that part of Patagonia. Of course, a lot of what will affect a hiking trip is the weather, and I have to say that we had perfect weather on the day with the best viewpoint.

We had an amazing trip and would like to thank you for pointing us in the direction of the 15-day tour and also telling us about El Pedral. As far as I’m concerned, nearly every day brought its own highlights, so there’s nothing I’d like to mention in particular. Our tour guide, Florenzia (sp?), was wonderful, as were the mountain guides in Los Glaciares and Torres del Paine. The accommodation and food were fine – and the portions were enormous! The organisation was excellent. We had one transfer when the vehicle broke down, but the driver arranged for another car.
I don’t know if we benefitted the local communities. I hope so. We certainly had plenty of time to interact with local people as we weren’t just being driven around.

Our trip was really wonderful. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute and I can honestly say that there weren’t any low points.
But, there were many highlights. Camp Poincenot in the woods in the snow was chilly but fun. Amazing views of Fitzroy. Our tour leader Flor was excellent as was Fernando, one of the mountain guides. The wildlife was memorable, guanacos and rhias and then later the penguin colony and elephant seals. El Pedral was magical. The food was superb and we loved it’s isolated setting.
Everything was well organised. The group had just 7 people which worked well.
All the accommodation was generally very good. The camps were really good fun, good fun and really warm sleeping bags.
We took trade to local restaurants and bought the odd souvenir etc. We tried to be sensitive to environment and keep impact low.
I would recommend the tour to anyone fit enough for the treks. The uphills were longer and steeper than expected but enjoyable.
Thank you for organising the holiday for us.

The highlight had to be the beautiful scenery. Every day was a wonder. It was definitely worth the 42 hours of travel time that it took me to get there. I didn’t have a low point …. except my luggage being lost on the way home. No worries though. They found it after a few days.
The tents were fine. The food was generally really good. The guides – Claudio and Tomas – were knowledgeable and friendly. The overall organisation of the trip was very good.

We had a fantastic trip with Camillo and Tatiana who both did a wonderful job of looking after us both with the cycling and with non cycling side events. The highlights for me were the Fincas and doing a 2000m climb to an altitude of 4000m on the Nevada del Ruiz. Meggie did 1000m of the climb as well.
Colombia is an absolutely beautiful country and we have encountered nothing but friendly people. The cycling culture is amazing.
Thanks for everything.

The holiday was almost exactly as I had expected it to be, so there was no general high or low points for me, just very good overall. Accommodation overall was of a reasonable/good quality and always clean, all food included was good and ample.
All the ground staff were good but a few deserve a special mention, our mountain guide in El Chalten “Sebastion” was very professional and had very good general and historical knowledge of the mountains. Arnolde, our bus driver from El Calafate to Ushuaia was always in the background but at the same time looking out for everyone, he was also a great wildlife spotter.
This was exactly the holiday I was looking for so probably would’nt have done anything differently, however if I was to return, which I hope to do, I would spend more time walking in the mountains.
thank you guys for managing to salavge this holiday for us, as we had independant flights it was looking like we were going to be spending all our time in Buenos Aires!

It was a FABULOUS trip – so THANK YOU! All the bookings, guides and transport that ANDEAN set up worked out very well for us and made for a great trip. For me the highlights of the trip were seeing the incredible landscapes of Patagonia, Perito Moreno glacier, the beautiful hikes to Lago del Torre and Fitzroy in Los Glacieres, and completing the Torres del Paine W trek with highpoints of Frances Valley and the Torres.
The W-trek was a little harder than we anticipated mostly due to weather which we had heard about but was truly unlike anything I’ve experienced (50-90km/hr winds)! But the trek was a good challenge and we were proud to have completed it! Everything you set up worked out very well for us – having 2 nights at Refugio Chileno was super as that gave us more options to get up to the Torres which we saw very well in between snow showers. I would not have wanted to walk up to the Torres on the same day as getting to another hut.
We also had a great time at Perito Moreno and at El Chalten where we did two 25km hikes and got great views of the Fitzroy range. I’m glad to have done all that before the TdP – would not want to have missed that! I really liked the town of El Chalten and the hikes there were a bit easier and absolutely beautiful. After TdP, we rested in style on the MV Stella Australis (having gotten upgraded to a first class cabin!) on our voyage through Tierra del Fuego and the Beagle Channel to Ushuaia.
This was truly a life-changing wonderful trip!

My husband and I agree this is the best trip we’ve ever been on, so let’s just call the entire thing the highlight.
Top-notch for accommodation. I can’t believe how nice the cabins are, especially considering how remote we were. The food was wonderful and they were even able to accommodate dietary restrictions. The guides were super knowledgeable and personable, which considering how much time we spent with them, was wonderful.
Organization was also good, as organized as something can be that is so reliant on animal activity and rainforest weather. I’ll be recommending you, and this trip, to my birding community, so thank you for arranging this for us!

We had a great holiday, thank you! I think our favourite day was when we did our trek up to the base of the towers in Torres del Paine – great views. The Chilean tour company were very good, everything went smoothly. Their drivers tended to turn up 10 minutes early.
Thank you again for our great trip.

The Galapagos is probably a once in a lifetime trip so there won’t be a “next time”, but there is nothing I would have planned differently about the trip. Even the weather was perfect and certainly met our expectations in terms of wildlife! Particular highlights were probably snorkelling with sea lions, swimming with green turtles, and being surrounded by hundreds of marine iguanas. I’m glad we opted for Itinerary B as it was certainly worth going to Isabela and Fernandina. The Flamingo was the perfect boat for us and with 10 adults and 10 mostly teenage children it was exactly the right mix of company for my daughter and I.
The food on the boat exceeded our expectations and it was nice to have table service rather than a buffet for the evening meal. The guides were extremely knowledgeable. Organisation was very smooth indeed and all the transfers went perfectly.
We also enjoyed our trip to the Highlands prior to the cruise. Both Haciendas Jimenita were lovely with very welcoming staff and great character. It was nice to have the same driver, Fausto, for all the transfers during the trip.

We’d recommend Letty wholeheartedly to anyone looking for an active, involved, fascinating Galapagos tour in great comfort with a first class crew and guides. We loved it! The varied itinerary and engaging, enthusiastic guides meant that every single day built on the last one with even more amazing sights and experiences.
We were delighted with the service from Andean Trails.
