We had a wonderful experience – highlights were Colca Canyon – well worth an extra day soak up the atmosphere walking in the valley, condor viewing (saw loads), Monasterio de Santa Catalina, both treks and of course Machu Picchu.

Everything worked perfectly: folk were there to pick me up when they should have, lodges were great, food included was delicious, flights all worked and were on time, the list of “things to bring” was accurate (and welcome), the Inca Trek was strenuous but spectacular, the Amazon was fantastic (that eco lodge was so unusual, but so worthwhile)… all in all, nothing went wrong and everything went just right.

What a pleasure – a million thanks to you (and Tom) and Andean Trails. I’m happy to endorse you guys any day of the week and of course, will never stray further than your website for any future journeys to that part of the world.

I had a truly amazing time in Peru and loved every minute of it! Everything went to plan apart from having a little crash on the mountain bike trip, the Inca trail was phenomenal and the rainforest trip was also really special- I would have liked to stay there for a bit longer though! Thanks again for all of your help in organising my trip, I’d have no problem recommending Andean Trails to other people.

So difficult to settle back into life after that amazing experience! Everything far exceeded my expectations – what amazingly friendly people we have encountered – and fantastic food, such a shame that at altitude I had no appetite! I think the highlight of the trip was the Salkantay Lodge to Lodge trek, this was pure luxury all the way and the guides were quite amazing. The group we travelled with were fantastic, everyone willing to walk at the same speed and enjoy each others company.

The trek was excellent and I’m really happy with everything. The food was excellent, with good variety and not too many cheap carbs like some treks. Accommodation in Huaraz was excellent, Olazas guesthouse was cute, clean and the staff really helpful.

The trip was great. The group got along very well, and the trek was beautiful and quite a bit more challenging than I had expected. The guide, cook, and donkey drivers were all excellent. Didn’t expect to have quite so many livestock along the way though!

I thoroughly enjoyed my trip to Peru. You did an excellent job in picking our tour guides

and activities. The guides were all well informed and their operation was excellent. They were prepared for us and told exactly what we needed to bring for each activity. Their equipment was all in great shape and had our safety in mind. They were very efficient in set up and break down. The food was wonderful and plentiful.

The Cusco leg of our journey was awesome. It was perfect being able to take things at our pace and not worry about anybody else’s schedule (and we were all feeling 🙂 Our guide and driver were fantastic and we all really enjoyed the horse riding, rafting and biking! Machu Picchu was incredible. The Vistadome train was fun too.

The Amazon was great. Thankfully the weather was sunny (though very warm) so we were able to do all the activities. The childrens programme was well organised. The children learnt so much about the jungle and got to dye t-shirts and find treasure…good times.
