Share Covid 19 by Kathy Jarvis on 2nd April, 2020 Covid 19 A picture of South America travellers, Andean Trails COVID 19 Page updated on 26 May 2020 (by Kathy Jarvis, director) We would like to extend a huge thanks all our UK staff and our numerous partners throughout South America for their help in reorganising tours that our customers have booked. Our partners in South America are putting a lot of time and effort to reschedule tours and services for all of our customers who can no longer travel on their chosen dates due to Covid 19, so many thanks to them for that at a very difficult time. We would like to extend our thanks also to our many customers who have been patient and continue to be so whilst we try to rearrange all holidays and trips that had been programmed for the coming months. We are all waiting to see what may happen. We are in a fast changing situation with many unknowns, so we ask for ongoing patience as we all wait to see how things pan out. For now, in line with government recommendations, Andean Trails staff are working from home and we have a reduced workforce for the foreseeable future. Please note that we can be contacted on our normal office emails, which are all being monitored frequently. If you are not able to travel due to Covid 19 restrictions we would ask that you postpone your trip to a future date. We can postpone almost all services for no extra cost, and we live in the hope that 2021 will see us all return to normal travelling. Your willingness to postpone will help the industry, our UK staff and our many partners and their families in South America. For the time being we are postponing all balance payments until further notice and we will keep you updated on any changes as and when we have an idea of when travel might open up again. We would like to reassure all customers that Andean Trails has been running successfully since 1998 and is a strong and well run company. Financially all of our customers’ money is protected by ATOL and a Trust Account and we are fully compliant with CAA regulations.
